Trash and Recycling Containers:
USA Waste Solutions is not responsible for lost or damaged personal trash containers. USA Waste Solutions offers 95 gallon and 65 gallon wheeled carts for trash. We offer 65 gallon carts and 18 gallon bins for recycling. Additional containers may be provided upon request for an additional monthly fee. Customers are responsible for maintaining their trash containers. There will be a fee for any container in need of repair due to customer negligence. Trash containers provided by USA Waste Solutions remain the property of USA Waste Solutions and may only be used by our customers for the duration of service.
Please have your trash and recycling in place for pickup by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day. Trash bags must weigh less than 50 pounds. Brush and limbs must be less than 6 inches in diameter, cut into 4 foot lengths or less, bundled, and not exceeding 50 pounds. Any unbundled brush and limbs will be considered a special pickup. Please contact us in advance to schedule a special pickup of any large or bulky items.
Items not accepted for collection:
Tires, oil, brick, flammable products and liquids, acid, wet cell batteries, manure, gasoline, lead, dead animals, rock, stone, paint, tree stumps, toxic materials, freon, live ammunition, bio-hazardous material, railroad ties, oversized brush (longer than 4 feet in length or 6 inches in diameter), bags weighing over 50 pounds or are unsafe to be loaded by our crews will not be collected.
Sharp objects should be placed inside a durable container and sealed. Anything left within 6′ feet of the collection area may be collected as trash.
We provide single stream recycling to plastics #1-7, cans, glass, bottles, jars, mixed paper, and cardboard boxes. All packing material must be removed from boxes. Items not accepted for collection: cookware, soiled pizza boxes, plastic bags, light bulbs, metal coat hangers, and styrofoam. Please visit the recycling section of our website for more details.
Weather Cancellations and Delays:
USA Waste Solutions at times may need to delay or cancel garbage collection services due to weather, disasters, or uncontrollable circumstances. Customers that remain unserviceable will be delayed until USA Waste Solutions determines that our crews can safely operate. USA Waste Solutions will make every effort to provide service as conditions allow.
Rates, Fees, and Charges:
USA Waste Solutions will provide 30 day written notice in the event of a rate increase and it will become effective as of the date stated in your notification. Invoices will be adjusted for the increase even if prepayment has been made at the previous rate. Our standard fees and charges are as follows: $25.00 fee for all returned checks, $50.00 minimum charge for special pickups, up to $75.00 for each container if our containers are unable to be recovered after cancellation of service. In the event that a container becomes lost or stolen the customer will endure the cost of $115.00 to have the container replaced. Customer will endure late fees of $1.32 per day up to 15 days past the due date of the invoice. Services will resume when payment is received and processed. If the invoice goes beyond 15 days past due, a monthly late fee of $50.00 will be added to the bill each month until the bill becomes 90 days past due. Once bill has become 90 days past due, the bill will be sent to collections for payment.
Customer Accounts and Payments:
USA Waste Solutions reserves the right that if a customer becomes delinquent on their account, and has their payment information saved on file, USA Waste Solutions will collect payment from the customers on file information to bring their account back to a current status. If customer needs to stop payment or update payment information, this must be done prior to due date of upcoming invoice(s).
Cancellation of Service:
You must notify our office in advance by phone or email when you plan to move, cancel, or transfer service. Unless we are notified in advance, you will remain responsible for the accrued monthly charges. All cancellations are made effective the last day of the month in which the cancellation is requested. Upon cancellation of service the trash containers will be scheduled for collection and a reconditioning fee of up to $25 may be applied to your account in the case of a damaged container. If the containers are unable to be recovered, lost or stolen, then your account will be charged up to $75 per container to cover the cost of our lost property. Refunds will be processed within 60 days of cancellation.
